METALLIC TARGET TIME AND ACCURACY MATCHES

These matches are conducted immediately after our regular monthly matches and are open to all interested Zouaves at no additional cost. 

The matches are a combination of time and accuracy.  They are shot one competitor at a time.  Each competitor takes the specified number of shots, usually between five and ten, at several metallic targets set between 100 yards and 200 yards. The shot is either a hit or a miss.  Competitors may also be required to shoot from different positions such as prone, sitting and standing.  Time begins on a signal and ends after the competitor has fired his last shot.  The competitor’s score is the total time to complete the course of fire plus time added for missed targets or hitting the wrong target. Competitors may repeat each course of fire as often as they wish.

The course of fire is changed for each match and posted on our website and at the range.  Match results are also posted on our website and at the range.

The matches are open to any rifle, except magnums, including rifles with bipods and any sight, open or optical.  Please, no AP or steel core ammo.
