San Jose Zouaves Rifle Club

Membership

How to Join: Download and complete the membership application, bring it along with the initiation feee to the practice match on the first Saturday of any month. You must be at our facilities no later than 8:00 AM in order to be processed. You do not need to make arrangements ahead of time, just show up (early if possible). All new members must sign up in person, on the first Saturday of any month, and complete our safety training same day before being permitted to join or participate. See here for all the details related to New Shooters.

How To Renew: Renewals are due starting in December of your active membership year and are considered late in February of the subsequent year. You should receive a renewal notice in the mail, however if you don't and/or don't want to wait, please bring your membership renewal form and dues to any club meet (first or third Saturday) in Dec or Jan. Fees are due in full when you renew. Fees cannot be prorated. You may also mail your renewal paperwork and fees to the address listed under the "Mailing Address" section on our How to Contact Us page.

Members "in Arrears". If you were a member one year, but did not pay renewal dues by the end of January the following year, you are in arrears (so if for example you signed up originally in 2016, but failed to pay your renewal by end of Jan 2017, you are now "in arrears"). You do not have to pay back dues but you will need to pay a new-member fee instead of a renewal fee. Please bring your membership renewal and dues to the next club meet (first or third Saturday of any month). Fees are due in full when you renew. Fees cannot be prorated. You may also mail your renewal paperwork and fees to the address listed under the "Mailing Address" section on our How to Contact Us page.

CMP Rifle Purchases: The score sheet posted for any match you participated in is considered "Proof of Participation in a Marksmanship or Other Firearms Related Activity" and your Zouaves member ID is considered "Proof of Current Membership in a CMP Affiliated Organization". Both of these are requirements for purchasing rifles from the CMP.
